Our Story

In the Summer of 2024, brothers Mich and Max set out on a weekend nature retreat. For three days, they left their phones in the car, and didn’t peek.

What they discovered was life-changing. For the first time in months, they felt a refreshing sense of happiness and connection. It was a wake-up call - that they hadn’t felt this good in years, their anxiety faded - and they needed to shout that message from the mountaintops. After one conversation with their best-friend Christian, Before the Internet was born.

More than just a series of phone-free events or a collection of apparel, it’s a movement to help people rediscover the joy of community, the richness of real-world experiences, and the benefits of living in the moment — just as life was meant to be: Before the Internet.
